Institute for Kidney Disease and Dialysis provides renal consultation, renal biopsy, as well as evaluation and management of hypertension and other kidney disorders. Each patient is treated based on his/her individual profile, with every attempt made to personalize care. For patients with advanced chronic kidney disease, we offer kidney transplantation and medical services including dialysis. We work with a team of doctors and transplant co-ordinators at the Netcare Transplant Centres in Cape Town.
We offer acute and chronic hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, hemoperfusion, hemofiltration, management of drug overdose, apheresis and evaluation of fluid, electrolyte, acid-base and mineral metabolism disorders.
